This is a quick screen testing for both chlamydia and gonorrhoea, which allows for quicker results. The results will be ready within 4 hours of the sample being received at the laboratory, compared to 24 hours with the older method of testing.
If you test positive, then an antibiotic treatment will be prescribed after taking some brief medical details and sent to you for next day delivery.
You can get tested at any time if you are sexually active. However, a positive result may not show for 7 days in the case of gonorrhoea and 14 days in the case of chlamydia if you are being tested after a perceived risky event.
