Quad STI Blood Screen
What is included?
At Home Diagnostics we can offer you four STI tests from a tiny blood sample that you collect yourself. We can test for Syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C using this sample.
How does it work?
Order your test kit online, and we will send you the STI Blood Screen Test by next day delivery. The test is supplied with full instructions on how to use it. Only a tiny amount of blood is required and this is taken from a finger prick. The kit is then sent back to our lab for analysis in the prepaid envelope that we provide.
How long does it take?
If you order your test kit before the cut-off time Monday to Friday then we will send it out to you by next day delivery for receipt the following morning. You can have the kit sent by first class mail if you prefer as this does not require a signature.
You should have your results within 4 hours of the sample being received by the lab.
How soon can I take the test?
You can take the test at any point but there is no point having this test sooner than 10 days post exposure. This is the earliest that indicators of any of these infections will appear in a blood sample.
What happens if I am positive?
If you test positive for any of the infections in the STI blood test then we will explain to you what the infection is and how to proceed. We cannot treat patients who test positive for anything on the STI Blood Screen and a face to face consultation is recquired.
Who is this test suitable for?
The STI Blood Test is suitable for anyone. If you wish to rule out having Syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C then this is the test for you. If you want a full sexual health screen then we have a Full Screen Plus that is able to identify eleven different infections.
